From Pontefract take A628 to Ackworth. At roundabout turn right onto A638 signposted Wakefield . At Nostell Priory take the B6273 to Fitzwilliam. First right at School onto Swine Lane . Then onto Long Dam. At T-Junction, turn left then first Right. Site at back of pub.

A very nice site near to the Wintersett reservoir. We had our usual walks around the lake and had a very pleasant weekend plenty of tee and chatter, a nice visit to a local garden centre and visits to the local hostelry.
