From Pontefract take A628 to Ackworth. At roundabout turn right onto A638 signposted Wakefield . At Nostell Priory take the B6273 to Fitzwilliam. First right at School onto Swine Lane. Then onto Long Dam. At T-Junction, turn left then first Right. Site at back of pub.

Hi there, 2nd meet of the season. Hosted by Jennifer & Barry, only 4 vans in total but those that missed it missed out on another fine? weekend .

Well almost fine ,it rained on Friday & friday night, also Saturday morning then again Saturday night but not much. Tony took me on a mystery tour of the old railway (on our bikes) on Saturday lunch time. We had a pleasant ride cum walk in all the mud, got rescued by an 85 yr. old lady (we used her path to get back onto the road) and just got back to the site as it started to rain again .I thought about singing the old rhyme of RAIN RAIN GO AWAY COME AGAIN NEXT WEEK, but I don't wish that really.
