Hi all, Just arrived home from another wet weekend. Congratulations to Miranda and Richard on there first meet as Stewards.
Not as well attended as I would have liked for them but still a very entertaining weekend. Again Steve and myself had to work on Saturday morning so it was an early start for us. I was back on site for 1-30 and after a Quick sandwich and a cuppa I got my head down for a quick kip. Have you ever had that feeling that you were being watched? Well I did. I opened one eye to find a strange man behind the lens of a camera looking at me. Paparazzi I think. I get it all the time. Its what comes with being a celeb.
The Social in the barn was a nice cosy gathering. I won the Quiz again ( I think I must be cheating) Steve won the candle game. ( I told you he was a big puff ) Will someone tell Joan that you should only blow the candle out, not the match as well. A good night. Well done.
Sunday morning and rain again. The coffee morning was held in Barrie & Joan’s van. (That gives you a clue as to how many vans we had out) I ran the proceedings in Robin’s absence. (How did the AGM go Rob?) We had another entertaining Hour. Kev and Doreen won the Quiz. Well done to you two.
It’s a pity we didn’t have a few more out to enjoy the weekend with us. Never mind. The ones that were on site thoroughly enjoyed your weekend Miranda & Richard. Well done and I hope we have many more with you. We always need new willing members like yourselves.
It will be a few weeks till we are out with you all again ( Audrey & Ted’s meet I think) See you all then.

Hi everyone what a wonderful weekend my pond is overflowing again.I think we had a drop of rain but it didn't dampen our resolve to have a good time Thanks to Miranda Richard & kids for running the weekend, the FIRST of many to come.
We want a better quiz next time , something to make us think a bit. We all know about our home county we dont need to be asked questions about it we already knew the answers. A few good ideas for the FOL are already coming along keep up the good work.
See you all soon BARRIE.
