Hello everyone, the first meeting of 2007,

We couldn’t have picked a better day dry and very bright. 11 brave souls met in the car park at Rother Valley Country Park at 10.30am and had a nice steady stroll and a good natter to catch up on things since our social at Criggleston. The bright sun as we walked round the back of the lake made viewing the Jet skis on the lake a bit difficult but we had a better view as we turned round the end of the lake and neared the water sports area. I think it must have been a bit cold on the water but they all seemed to be enjoying themselves. We had a look at their Motor Homes and trailers it puts our units to shame. They were huge things with sides that pop out bigger than my van, and they announced that they have to travel all over the Continent and into America on their Circuit of races (I really felt sorry for them). We then went for a cuppa to round of the day, then home for diner and a well earned rest. AH   AH  AH    

Well folks that’s all till we see you at our social on 10th February at Criggleston  - don’t forget it’s an American supper..
