Hi all .

Well here we are again. Another season upon us. Our first meet this year was at Glebe Farm run by Lorraine, Mike And Matthew. Not a very big turn out for an AGM meet but it is still early I suppose. A warm welcome was had by all from our Stewards on Friday as always. After a cuppa and a chin wag It was time for tea. Pie and Mushy Peas. Lovely. We all stayed on site for a change and had a few beers etc in the comfort of our vans.

Saturday morning and guess what. We only ran out of gas on the first meet. What a start. Not to worry. Wandahome only 2 minutes up the A1. In the afternoon The Golf society went off for a quick round leaving some of the Ladies on site to get on with their craft work. I must thank Barrie & Robin for some very forgiving scoring on my card. I haven't played much over the closed season as my Mummy & Daddy have not been well. (Going for the sympathy vote now) Any way we had a nice afternoon even though it was a little cold.

Saturday night and we all met up in the barn for a free and easy social. A nice evening was had by all.

Sunday morning and after a short coffee morning it was time for the AGM Followed by The Committee Meeting. If you were not able to attend the details of both meetings will be available soon. I'm sure Richard will be updating the web site with the new committee members and there positions.

Well that's about it from me. The only thing left to do is thank Lorraine, Mike and Matt. For a nice opening weekend.

   Looking forward to seeing more out soon.

Hello everyone, its good to be back camping again.

We have finally got off the mark with a good weekend meet hosted by Lorraine Mike & Mathew, Thanks folks I enjoyed myself even though Joan was in Spain somewhere. It was also our AGM and quite a few turned up even though they were not camping, Due to the fact that some of our last year’s committee were resigning we have enough volunteers to make sure that our club goes on. Robin gave his report and said he had enjoyed doing the past three and a bit years as chairman ( if you believe that you will believe anything ) only kidding Robin.  He is staying on as a committee member and hopefully next November he will be taking over as Treasurer when I step down, so that we can go off for longer periods of time without thinking about getting the returns into HQ on time. 

I would like to add my thanks to ALL the retiring committee members and say thank you for helping to keep the club going . Also a big thanks to the new committee members,   Welcome aboard. A big welcome to Duncan as our  new chairperson, I am sure that with everyone’s help he will do a fine job.  Last but no means least I hope that Iris and Ivan are soon fit and well and out camping with us, (I missed you Iris at the AGM it was not the same without you )
