Toilet facilities available within club house during opening hours. 20 minute walk into york along tow path. Lovely flat area, ideal for walking, cycling. Park next to site.

Hello all , I have managed to get time to put a few words on our site about the great weekend at YORK.
We arrived Wednesday afternoon in glorious weather so we didn't feel like doing a lot but we forced ourselves and put up the awning and put out some signs and enjoyed the sun. Thursday morning our visitors arrived in a steady flow and by the end of the day we had 14 vans on site. Most came back for a cuppa and a chat which was nice to meet people we didn't know.
More arrivals on Friday throughout the day and we finished up with 24 vans in total. What a nice site for riding into York or just along the path by the river or further afield if you feel fit. Also a nice steady walk into York and a little shopping as well. We had a get together in the awning on Saturday evening and had our usual chin wag, and dunked a few biscuits while Sandra wasn't around and had some sticky Parkin . sorry Sandra .
Well that's about all for now must go and get the van ready for tomorrow, it's all go this vanning. Hope to see you all there
