Social in barn saturday evening
Hi Everyone,
We've just got back from our meet, its only the second time we've ever stewarded a meet but throughly enjoyed it. We're still learning but we hope you all enjoyed it. I must admit that the weather was just a little bit better than last year which did help.
Duncan, Robin and Dad when golfing again - and duncan kept rambling on about getting a hole in one,
- in 'one' what he wouldnt say! I think its probably a sock!
Anyway a big thankyou to everyone who turned out for us, and see you all at High Marnham next week.

Well thanks to Richard and Miranda and kids for a great weekend the weather was great to us we had some one on about a hole in one cannot imagine who but thanks for the drink Duncan in the barn on saturday night.

Hello again, hope you all had a good weekend ,once again the weather was good even though it was a little windy. It was fine enough for we golfers to manage a round on Saturday and what a round it was.I know some wont believe it but DUNCAN got a HOLE IN ONE at the 3rd. hole at OWSTON PARK GOLF COURSE.
There where two witnesses .So it is a first of many to come , Well done Duncan. It was nice to see the kids playing on the field with plenty of fun and laughter, long may it continue. Saturday evening we had a get together in the barn with an American supper and plenty of drink courtesy of Duncan's hole in one. Sunday we had our round the flag at 11 o clock and we enjoyed the sun afterwards with plenty of chin wagging . Hope to see you next weekend at High Marnham, and hope the weather stays fine again.

This weekend we have been to glebe Farm at Barnesdale Bar and what a weekend. Our host have been Richard and Miranda. 8 vans in total this time. Come on where are you all? I arrived on Friday tea time. On my own this weekend as the wife was at a Justin Trouser Snake (Timberlake) concert on Friday night. A warm welcome was had by all as usual. After a hectic week at work, A quiet night in the van with a few cans watching telly was the order of the day. In bed by 10.00. (how sad am I?)
Saturday morning and the weather was brill. After a spot of breakfast it was off to the local golf course for Barrie, Robin and myself. What a game. My Best ever. I did something that I still can’t believe myself. A HOLE IN ONE on the third. I’m glad that I had two witnesses. What a good way to spend an afternoon. Thanks to my golf buddies for a great game.
Back on site about 3.00 in time for a coffee and a chin wag before the obligatory BBQ for tea.
At 8.00 we all met in the barn for the social. I provided a bit of booze to celebrate the HOLE IN ONE. We had a really good night. It must have been good because I cant remember who I walked back to the van with. I think it was Jack. Thanks for seeing me home whoever it was.
Sunday morning and I had a bit if a late start. Cant think why. Coffee morning was at the usual 11.00 start with a chin wag after as we waited for the Sun to come out. We have had the nicest start to a season on record and this weekend was no exception.
A big thanks goes to Miranda & Richard for another great weekend. Sorry .Did I mention that I got a HOLE IN ONE?
