Pie and pea supper/quiz night

Just back from a great weekend thanks to Kath and Charlie helped by the card sharp Kevin two great nights in the hut with plenty of entertainment and prizes i think most people got a prize then on the Saturday night there was also pie,peas,gravy and mint sause which i might add i did not have one and thanks Kevin for the cards it just about payed for my weekend. We had 11 caravans so thanks to you all for comming and making it a great weekend.

Hello again, what a surprise to get another good weekend , a bit windy Friday & Saturday but glorious Sunday. When I arrived I went to fill up with water ,no water on tap, stop tap must be in toilet block, so I unlock the dorr to go inside and guess what happened, the ALARM went off. Panic stations I had 30 seconds to turn it off before it went through to a control room somewhere.I didn't make it by about 3 minutes. A long story to get it turned off but thankfully no police arrived,so I stayed to enjoy the weekend hosted by CATH & CHARLEY.With a get together in the hut on Friday evening we were introduced to a new game of HOY by Kevin and a quiz by Charley.
Saturday evening we were given a treat by our hosts of PIE,PEAS & GRAVY.all for a donation which went to the AIR AMBULANCE. We also had a long quiz that was won by visitors from East Mids.We also had more games of HOY with Kevin in charge thanks Kevin I can see that being a regular with us now, quite a lot of fun.Sunday saw our get together to pay our dues for the weekend and after a walk it was time for a snooze in the glorious sun, then as usual it was time to go home . Thanks to all who came and enjoyed a weekend with us hope you will come again, and again THANKS to CATH & CHARLEY for hosting it. £35.00 was made for the air ambulance well done everyone.
See you all soon Joan & I are going to WOLD NEWTON next Wednesday to start our THS.
