Hi All.
        This week we have been to Mandalay with our hosts Barry & Jennifer. The forecast for the weekend was bad to say the least.
Thankfully as usual the forecasters were wrong. We had a total of 14 vans out  including visitors from Spen valley DA.
   After the welcome cuppa from our Stewards it was time for tea then off to the local for a few drinks. The weather was so nice we sat outside until gone 11.00. (Promise we were Quiet on the way back)
Saturday morning and the weather was fine & dry. Off to the golf course for Charlie, Robin & Myself. Another very enjoyable round. Thanks lads. Another trip to the pub for us that night whilst others stayed on site and did there own thing.
  Sunday and still fine but cloudy. Coffee morning was held outside the stewards van at 11-00 as usual.
    On leaving the site Peter & Brenda had a spot of bother when van & car parted company. One lady was injured and taken to hospital but at this time it doesn’t look to serious. This was a very shocking event for Peter & Brenda and we all hope that the van is fixed soon and they are back doing what they enjoy so much. Our thoughts are also with the Spen Valley Members who were involved. I will be contacting all the people involved to make sure they are ok and see if we can do anything for them.
It’s a pity that this took the edge off what was another enjoyable meet.
