Lovely flat site, near river. Ideal for walking, bike riding, golf course nearby.

Hi there, another good weekend stewarded by Brenda & Peter.Although this was a 5 day meet We couldn't go till Friday (I was playing golf on Thursday) but when we arrived there were already a good number of vans already set up. After setting up I was asked if I wanted to go play a round of golf with Robin & Neil, I couldn't let them down could I?

Saturday morning saw the ladies go shopping so Keith, Albert, Steve, Neil, Robin & me had to put up with going for a game of golf to pass the time  while the ladies went away shopping. When we got back Peter asked us to put up the tent ready for Saturday evening, It was a bit of a squash getting it up but we managed it, then left it to Peter & Brenda to get it ready for the evening entertainment, and what a surprise we had, it turned out that it was their 50th wedding anniversary and they put on a spread fit for a king, a full buffet and wine. (when is your next one Peter I can't wait)

We then had our usual social and it was definitely up to standard. Thanks Peter. I can't remember the reason the 9 of diamonds was special or I would have told everyone now, still I think I may find out another time.  Most of us got into trouble from Peter for not doing his village quiz, SORRY PETER, but a lot did it Sunday morning, it made for a nice walk before coffee morning and we now know a lot more about Misterton. We had the usual queries about the answers but had fun finding out in the end. We also were told that it was Audrey's & Albert's wedding anniversary, so we gave our congratulations to them as well. May you all have many more to come.

Thanks to all for the help putting up the tent and taking it down in quite a strong wind on Sunday. I hope all our visitors had a good time with us and hope to see you out with us again soon.  Thanks again BRENDA & PETER

See you all at our charity weeknd meet next weekend
bye for now Joan & Barrie
