Hi all.

Just home from our meet at one of our new sites for 2008 Ranah Stones Farm Crowedge. Thanks goes to Sharron and Steve for a nice weekend. I arrived late on Friday night to find only 4 vans on site including the stewards. Just time to set up and have a few drinks before getting our heads down.

Saturday morning came and when I opened the blinds the field was white over with snow. It didn't last long as the sun was shining. Everybody apart from me went out for a long walk around Langset reservoir. A little to long for some. What do you say Joan? I had a run out for some gas and to put a little flutter on the Grand National. WOW I won a tenner. After tea we had a free and easy night. Sharron & Steve joined me for a drink and to watch the Boxing. Sunday morning and again it was white over. A lovely sight as you will see from the photos. After the coffee morning it was back to the van to watch the Grand Prix before rushing home to watch Barnsley in the FA cup semi final. Never mind Barnsley, may be next year?

All in all it was a very enjoyable weekend. I only hope we get a few more out when we return to this site later in the year.

Thanks again to Sharron & Steve.
See you all soon I hope
Duncan

Hi there, just got round to putting a few pictures out from our meet at Ranna Stones Farm run for us by Sharron & Steve.

Well done to you both, the weather was just great if you like the arctic type, but never mind we still enjoyed a good weekend. This was my second weekend out with snow as the dominant weather, but Sharron & Steve had arranged a walk round Langsett reservoir,so off we went fully kitted out for the arctic, and had a good walk. Thanks for that.

Sunday morning we managed to have coffee morning outside but then the weather changed and we all set of home earlyer than usual.

Thanks again to Sharron & Steve.
