Hello there, another good meet this time at Sheppley for 5 days. We arrived on Thursaday in quite windy conditions but at least it was dry.We had 4 vans out on Thursday and another 8 on Friday. We went for a walk on Friday evening ,we set of in the dry but got quite wet by the time we got back.It was nice to see a few visitors, and I hope it wasn't spoiled too much with there being no Tractor Rally. When you look at the pictures it will make you wonder why we buy such large caravans when some manage in this one. The lady who was in it was up and out early and back late at night, no wonder is there.
We are off to Skegness next weekend and then off to see Christine & Peter in Wales so we wont be seeing you all for a while , so enjoy your camping and we will see you at Haxey for the Air Ambulance meet.
See you then, happy camping Joan & Barrie
PS I had a phone call when I got home ,from someone from Leeds who saw the meet in OUT & ABOUT at Carnforth and knowing where Carnforth was set out for there. When they got there they asked for Marsh farm and found it, only to find out that there was no rally there. This was an error by HQ. but it shows that we should all give the stewards a call to make sure that the meet is still on if going to a rally that we don't know for sure is still on. A lesson to be learnt. Barrie
