Hi All.

Well it’s Sunday night again. This week we have been entertained by Audrey & Ted at Ranah Stones Farm. We arrived on Friday tea time and as usual we were greeted in the usual Caldervale manner. A Warm welcome and a cuppa. After the chin wag we put up the tent as I had planned a meeting to go through what we was going to do on Saturday morning for the FOL. We gathered in the tent at 9.00 pm , only to be joined by 2 million midges. Well we stood it out and the midges got fed up before we did.

I had to work on Saturday morning, so I left the site at 6.00 am. When I returned at 1.00 pm it was obvious to me that all had been very busy with the paint as you can see from the photos.

That night we had a get together in the tent. We had the uninvited midges for a while but we drove them out with every smelly ,Smokey thing that we could find from our vans. Ted and Audrey provided us with a bite to eat, accompanied with some Brown sauce that had a mind of its own. I apologise now for the brown stains on the tent. Cheers for a good night.

Sunday morning and the sun was shining. I held the coffee morning out side the tent, with all the usual fun and Jokes. Congratulations go to Josh for his 2nd birthday, Us for our 23rd wedding anniversary,( I need a medal) Sarah and Chris on there wedding announcement and to Robin for finding work in these uncertain times.

We have had a very nice weekend with good weather and 14 vans out.

Next week I have decided to cancel the meet at Cawthorne as it is not up to our usual standard of site. Go back 15 years to fields full of cow sh—t and you will know what I mean. We are now going to Hoylandswaine instead . Hope to see you all there.

Duncan
