Congratulations to Matthew Cottingham
Congratulations to Matthew Cottingham who has raised to date over £150.00 after doing a 10 mile sponsored walk from the Drax campsite on 29th September, into Goole and back again.
The money is to go to Castaway, which is a music and drama group for the learning/physically disabled in Goole, and of which Matthew is an active member. The group was recently awarded official charity status and also adopted as one of the Lord Mayor's charities for the year. They do on average 2 performances at The Gate Theatre in Goole (June was their own version of 'Summer Holiday' and in December they will be performing 'Dick Whittington' with Matthew in the role of Mr Whittington himself!
Anyone interested in coming along to see one of the show just contact Lorraine or Mike on 01405 704232 for details. Tickets £3.00 ..... the joy on the performer's faces .... priceless!!!
We can offer either hard standing caravan space or a room for the night with us if anyone is concerned over distance, just ask.

NFOL at Exeter
I have taken over 200 photographs at this years NFOL at Exeter in Devon and have put them on my photo web site for members to look at. Hopefully some of your DA members who were activilly involed in the event are in the pictures.
If any of your members sees themselves etc or your Newsletter Editor wants any of the pictures then they only have to email me and I will send the High Resilotion image total FREE of charge to them.

Open the NFOL album and click on the 1st picture, then you will have manual control this is better than using the Slideshow button as it is too fast and the text is not so easerly read.
