Just back and sorted from the weekend with Edward & Audrey in charge at Ranah Stones Farm. Lovely field, great views; it's a massive space and the landowner is very accommodating too. We hadn't been here before, so weren't really sure where to go, but after a little tour of the farmyard, we made our way back down the lane and into the HUGE field, where we parked up next to Ted & Audrey who made us very welcome. A big thank you for hosting this weekend - it was a nice "quiet" one, but enjoyable all the same. Shelli & Dave joined us later, so we had a total of just 3 vans in that huge space all weekend. Shame about the road noise; other wise it would be totally idyllic in that setting. But you can't have everything. Hubby and I ventured out to Glossop on the Saturday morning ( yes he DOES get up that early every flippin' day!) - what a lovely place. We had a walk around the town after having had breakfast at Wetherspoons. Back to the field early afternoon to relax, then a nice quiet night in for us. Well, it was quiet until the early hours when the rain pelted down and kept all of us awake on and off right through the night, but none of us had leaks and everyone was safe, so no harm done. We will definitely go again and we are only sorry that the rest of the gang couldn't join us - however we totally understand why they couldn't and hope everything went to plan. See you in the field next weekend. Teresa & Eddy. Teresa Hooker
